The moment you're done making a brew is so beautiful, we thought it deserved to be frozen in time in the most pleasing way possible.  So we commissioned an oil painting on canvas of this pour-over setup from the talented Georgina Stanley, asking her to capture this moment from our everyday routine.

The painting was scanned using a Cruse scanner to capture every single detail of each stroke, and copies are Giclée printed on demand on Hahnemühle heavy-duty paper, whose texture and warm white tone are ideal for fine art reproduction.

This is the first piece in our coffee fine art series, where we explore coffee scenes through the lens of different art and painting styles.

Georgina is a classically trained artist based in London. She studied at the Florence Academy of Art, graduating in 2015 with the Portraiture Prize. In 2014, she founded the first Represent exhibition in Notting Hill, featuring over 50 contemporary artists. Her work has been shown in group exhibitions including Fall of Light at Fairhurst Gallery in Norwich. She currently works from her studio in Brixton, focusing on commissions and upcoming shows.
